Top 3 books of 2006

Shelly's Bookshelf asked the following question.

It was really hard to pick my top 3 books of the 200 I read last year. I had to go back through the list of all the books I read and reviewed, then the list of what I classified as favorite and influential books as I read them. This caused me to really ponder what would be the top 3. Here is what I came up with:

God Rides a Yamaha - Kathie Shaidle
Which is the story of a woman's struggle with faith, doubt, and lupus.

May Crowning, Mass, and Merton: And Other Reasons I Love Being Catholic - Liz Kelly
A great book where one women share's what she really loves about the Catholic tradition.

Life After God - Douglas Coupland
An awesome book, that is really hard to describe.

I have linked to my reviews of each of these three. It was really hard to narrow the list to 3. It would have been easier to choose 3 fiction and 3 non-fiction, but that was not the question given.
