This pre-Level 1 reader is a great read for beginning readers. The story is wonderful. The sentences are short, and many repeat words for reinforcement. Gus wants to play but no one has time. So he decides to make a friend; while working on his snow friend Ned sees him and they work together. The story is fun and entertaining. The illustrations are awesome. This is the first book by Frank Remkiewicz we have read but we will definitely be tracking down more.
