Philips
ASIN B01B1GUY84
It is hard to write a review when you begin with so very little good to say. But unfortunately that is the situation I am in with this shaver. I was really looking forward to trying this product. Reading about it I was excited to try wet shave, dry shave, with or without gel or cream. I read the instruction manual; yes I know that in and of itself is unusual. It recommended shaving with the new shaver at least three times a week for three weeks to get acclimatized to the new method.
The first shave was disastrous, my cheeks shaved ok, but the jaw line and anything below the jaw line was only about 30 clean shaven. I was out of time and gave up and re-shaved with my old manual razor. But I was committed to giving this a try. Now after almost 4 weeks I am just as disappointed. After about 20 shaves I can only give this product 1 star out of 5 and that is for the beard styler attachment. If I was rating just the shave it would be a big fat 0! Out of about 20 shaves only once did I not go back and clean up the jaw and neck with a hand razor. That one time I reapplied shave cream three times and took almost 5 times the length of time to shave with this electric shaver as it would have taken me with a manual razor. There have been times when travelling I have needed to use cheap single blade razors and I must state clearly that they outperformed this device. This truly was the worst shave I have ever had!
