A prayer before logging onto the internet:
Almighty and eternal God, who created us in Thine image and bade us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful, especially in the divine person of Thine Only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we beseech Thee, that, through the intercession of Saint Isidore, Bishop and Doctor, during our journeys through the internet we will direct our hands and eyes only to that which is pleasing to Thee and treat with charity and patience all those souls whom we encounter. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
I came across this prayer today from the writings of Father Z. or Fr. John Zuhlsdorf, has it available on his site in a number of languages in both written and audio formats. He was asked to write this prayer and it is based upon Saint Isidore being the patron saint of the internet. Working in IT and spending a lot of my free time writing for this blog I spend a lot of time on the computer, and I am going to be incorporating it into my daily prayers.
You can find the prayer in many languages here.
