Third Sunday of Easter Sunday 2018

Third Sunday of Easter Sunday 2018

This has been a busy week. It was our youngest daughters first communion. I have sat down a few times but do not have much of a reflection.

First Reading Acts 3:13-15, 17-19
Responsorial Psalm 4:1, 3, 6, 8 Response 6b
Second Reading 1 John 2:1-5
Gospel Luke 24:35-48

Today the ground is covered in snow. It has been rain, snow and hail for almost 2 days and is suppose to continue off and on until next weekend. It is not typical weather for mid April. I came across the top photo in the church library, circa 1979 photo by Douglas Spillane M.P.A.  It is very different seeing the church with red carpet as opposed to the green that has been there the 7 years we have been attending. The cross has been brought over from Saint Agnes School. We were alittle rushed I would have liked to have got a better picture of it.
