Mammoth UML - Tony Horton One on One Volume 1 Disk 8

Volume 1 Disk 8

This isn't my favorite of the One on Ones. In fact it is my least favorite of the 9 that I have used. It feels too slow and plodding. Tony says at the beginning that he has no plan and is making it up as he goes but it just seems to take too long. There are 18 exercises in 6 groups of three with breaks between each group. The exercises are good; Tony is in the mountain at the Mammoth Ski resort and high altitude affects workouts.
The exercises are:
Pushups, Crunchy Frogs, Deep Squats, Chair Dips, Fifer Scissors, Run Stance Jump Switch, Chataranga pushup/SideArm Balance, Slow Mason Twists, Walking Lunges, Staggered Switch Hand Pushups, Hip Lock and Raise, Super Skaters, Pike Press, Speed Bicycles, Side Lunge Jump/Slide, Plyo Skipper (or Standard Pushups), Oblique V-up, Jump Knee Tucks.
However, what really redeems this video is the bonus 18 minute Apres Ski stretch with Tony Horton and Steve Eckels. This is a great, quick stretching routine, especially if you have been on skis either on the slopes, the waves or the trails. If you have been out pushing it, doing some hard core physical exercise, this will be a great way to keep the kinks at bay.
One on One with Tony Horton has been on the market a little over a year, from Beachbody. It started as a subscription service when Tony turned 50, because so many fans of his other programs were looking for more workouts with Tony. For about $20 a month you get a new workout DVD each month. You can subscribe and get them all or order the specific ones that grab your attention. These workouts are close, intimate and real. These are advanced workouts for those already in good shape looking to take it to the next level. They are intended for graduates of Power90, P90X, or other Beachbody or other fitness programs.
To find out more about this series or other workouts in the collection follow the links below. I have created a random workout generator that uses 1 on 1's and P90X if your interested.
